What term did you attend IPC?
Autumn Term 1995

What do you do?
Web and Information Manager in a national charity for disadvantaged young people.

Are you married? Do you have children?
I am married to Aruna (see photo). We don't have any kids - but would love to have a cat...

What are your best memories from IPC?
Where do I start? Sharing a room with a lovely Japanese lady with whom I could hardly communicate at first; all the numerous educational and fun international evenings; feeling incredibly close to people I'd only known briefly and knowing I'd made friends for life; learning bits of many languages; having four months to delve in creative projects - our Knightingale play, our many many hours of singing, weaving with Devyani, hungover ceramics classes with Edelgard etc; learning without having to sit exams; Samsoe; trips to McDonalds with Yumiko and Tina; the first few evenings of getting to know each other - Sally and Safari spring to mind; making friends with people of different ages... But really it's my memories seamlessly blend into the experiences I've had with my IPC friends after 1995.

Who have you met up with since IPC?
Everyone at the 2005 reunion, Devyani, Yumiko, Rikke, Ronit - hope I didn't forget anyone...

What was the greatest thing you learned at IPC?
IPC taught me a lot which has become more evident in recent years than immediately after, but i suppose at the time it taught me to be less selfish and to grow up!

What message do you wish to give to everyone from your IPC term?
Take care of yourselves and keep in touch. My door is always open.
