What term did you attend IPC?
Autumn Term 1995
What do you do?
I work at a small software company as the Software Production Manager. For fun (as in I rarely get paid), I review films for my movie review website, and volunteer at local film festivals.
Are you married? Do you have children?
I live with my girlfriend and our two cute cats.
What are your best memories from IPC?
That snowy night where a group of us discovered that mysterious underground bar we *think* was called Holger Danske; The huge impressive Thanksgiving dinner which was a perfect evening; Hanging out with the chain smoking Central and Eastern Europeans up on the balcony (despite the fact I don't smoke!); Several excellent parties, including the last one, where everyone caught the flu the next day; So many more memories!
Who have you met up with since IPC?
I was very lucky to be able to travel a lot the first few years after IPC, and met with Yuri, Ewa, Beata, Titta, Karin, Bjoern, Yoshiki, Tomoko, Rikke, Steffen, Ditta, Kurt, plus all the folks at the 2005 reunion. In Seattle, I've met up with or had visits from Anthea, Paul, Yuri, Karin, Marit, Kyle and most recently Rikke!
What was the greatest thing you learned at IPC?
Cultural differences aside, we are all more alike than different... If people learned to recognize and accept that simple fact, there would be better communication between cultures. We just have to be open to it!
What message do you wish to give to everyone from your IPC term?
Greetings, everyone! I hope you all are well. Feel free to drop me an email to say "hi!" I would love to hear from you all!
